Happily Employed is a community-built job board and advocacy platform based in Stockholm, Sweden, fighting for fairness in the world of work. We curate real, non-scraped opportunities and create spaces where job seekers don’t feel powerless or alone. Our mission is bigger than listings: we’re setting standards for ethical employment through our CARE Certification, supporting advocacy campaigns, and building resources that put people - not profit - at the center. Happily Employed is proof that the job search can be human, transparent, and rooted in solidarity.
Ainsley Fagerström
With 10+ years in marketing leadership, Ainsley has helped startups, scaleups, and mission-driven brands find their voice, sharpen positioning, and grow with purpose. She’s led full-funnel strategies, built brands from scratch, and launched campaigns that don’t just convert - they resonate.
Her approach blends smart growth with strong values. From SEO and Google Ads to brand strategy and community building, Ainsley turns insight into action, and action into traction.
To her, marketing isn’t just a business function - it’s a cultural force. Equity, inclusion, and social impact aren’t afterthoughts; they’re built into everything she creates, including Happily Employed.
Edward Urunsak
Since 2016, Edward has worked across study abroad, international partnerships, and EdTech in both K-12 and higher education. His earlier career spanned hospitality, tourism, and English teaching, shaping his strengths in business development, customer success, and values-driven marketing.
Having lived in the Netherlands, Turkey, and the UK, he brings cultural insight, adaptability, and a strong belief in making growth more accessible through tech - with people always at the centre. Outside of work, he enjoys languages, history, geopolitics, and time with his young son - a daily reminder of what really matters.
Giovanni Pollarolo
Since 2013, Giovanni has worked across e-commerce strategy, digital expansion, and localization - helping DTC brands scale across diverse global markets. His earlier career included leadership roles at Shopify and agency work with brands of all sizes, shaping his strengths in cross-border growth, platform optimization, and values-driven brand building.
Having lived in Italy, the UK, and Sweden, he brings a cross-market perspective, cultural fluency, and a commitment to sustainable, scalable growth - with people and purpose always at the centre. Outside of work, he enjoys fashion, travel, fitness, and connecting with people.
Mete Yapalıal
Since 2017, Mete has built his career across marketing, branding, and communications - spanning roles in employer branding, PR, and trade marketing, as well as digital growth and campaign strategy for both global corporations and startups. His work blends creativity with analytics, helping brands scale while staying true to their identity.
Having lived in Turkey and Sweden and travelled to more than 15 countries, he brings a global outlook, cultural adaptability, and a strong belief in the power of storytelling to connect people and businesses. A passionate fan of metal music, he also spends time reading and teaching history, designing courses that make complex ideas accessible to wider audiences.
Rhianna Davies-Smith
Since 2019, Rhianna has worked across fundraising, education, and programme development – creating initiatives that drive meaningful change. With a background in climate change education, operations, and project management, she has partnered with corporates and non-profits to help scale their impact. Over her career, she has managed non-profit finances, taught more than 15,000 people about sustainability through workshops and talks, and travelled to Borneo to study wildlife conservation.
Having lived in England, America, Switzerland, and now Sweden, she brings a global outlook and a strong understanding of how to communicate across cultures. Guided by her passion for sustainability and impact, she is committed to building programmes that connect people with purpose. Outside of work, she enjoys baking sourdough bread, meeting friends, and spending time in nature – no matter the weather.
Nikki Jasmine Scott
Nikki is a content strategist and digital marketer from Canada with a background in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. She has worked with brands including Old Spice, Essity, and Ericsson, and on campaigns that range from influencer features on Michelle Obama’s Instagram to a Webby-winning project.
She has lived in England, Toronto, and Australia, and as an EU citizen brings an international perspective to her work. Nikki is open about living with ADHD, which gives her a unique way of seeing connections and ideas. Outside of work, she enjoys storytelling, community building, watching endless cat videos, and rewatching The Office.
Virginia Otero
With 7+ years in organizational strategy and data analytics, Virginia has helped consulting firms, universities, and mission-driven organizations turn insight into impact. She’s led transformative change initiatives, DEI programs, and employer brand projects, built data solutions that boosted fundraising, and developed market insights and strategic partnerships that drive results.
At Happily Employed, she is leading the development of the CARE Certification, channeling her passion into creating workplaces where people genuinely enjoy their time at work. She believes that ethical, inclusive, and human-centered workplaces directly improve overall quality of life.
She holds a Master’s in Organizational Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, with additional business studies in Italy.
Beyond the office, she explores the world - 30+ countries and counting - and stays active through rowing and swimming.
